NoJoMo #17 Burnt......

Burnt out..... Work has me feeling this way..... I have a few posts that I didn't publish last week, but blogging everyday has been the least of the things on my mind. Other than work, I'm doing well. I've subbed Zumba at the main YMCA 3 times in the last week. It has been so much fun! I'm finding joy in being able to get others moving and doing something healthy for themselves. I really think that is my true calling over all.....but how to do that and pay the bills? I can see it as supplemental income, but not my main source of income.

Oh well, this is all I have time for at the moment.

NoJoMo #11 Wordless Wednesday - Veteran's Day 2009

NoJoMo #10 Tuesday is better!

So after a terrible Monday, Tuesday was a better day. I slept until 6:45am when the work phone rang. Yes, I still wanted to throw it across the room, but the fact that I actually got some sleep and was getting ready to hit snooze on alarm clock make it better.

I subbed Zumba at the main YMCA in my town tonight and boy was I nervous! It's usually a pretty big class. The numbers didn't make me nervous, but the expectation did scare me. After all, they are use to their regular instructor and aren't use to having a sub at all. I was just so excited for the opportunity. Everyone seemed to like it. I got a lot of "good jobs" and "I had fun" at the end which made me smile. My only goal for each class is to make them sweat. So tonight I succeeded! We'll chalk this one up to a win! If I could teach Zumba, other group fitness classes, and train people each day of the week, I would! I love being able to inspire and help others to be active. I'm truly thankful for the ability to do so!

I better hit the bed. Tomorrow brings a lunch time walk/jog and practicing more Zumba songs for an upcoming Zumbathon to benefit a local middle school's Secret Santa program. I'm very excited about the event. And very glad I can donate my time to such a great cause.

NoJoMo #9 Monday Monday

Oh Monday was not on my side this week at all.... but when is it ever?! It started out at 1:45am Sunday night/Monday morning....Yup....The work phone almost got hurled across my bedroom at 1:45am when it awoke me from my slumber.

That call presented a problem that took me until 3:15am to fix. At that point my plans to get up and run before lunch were nixed. Serious. Can't I just sleep one full night people? Company X does not pay me enough for this crap.

My plan of attack for making sure this doesn't happen again... WIN THE LOTTERY! Wish me luck! LOL

NoJoMo #8 The weekend is gone too soon....

Seriously..... It's Sunday night and I'm not ready for the weekend to be over. I just want one day that I can just sit around and do nothing.... just veg out....

Update on my fitness goals.... I have yet to run/jog/walk even a mile of my 35. I'm determined to do it though. I must. I have to get back on the swimming, biking, and especially running horse. April will be here before I know it! Let's do it TriDivas!

That's all I can get into type right now. I know, short, not a whole lot to say....

NoJoMo #7 AFAA Certification Saturday

Today's agenda included the AFAA Group Fitness Certification. I have been trying to study for this, but my attention span of a small child with ADD during the week. After working all day and then hitting the gym, I just didn't have a great deal of focus.

The workshop was great. Very informative and pretty fun. It was a lot of information but understandable. There were only 6 people there, so everyone got plenty of attention.

Here's the part that stinks though. It takes 4-6 weeks to get the test results back! Geez! What ever happened to instant gratification?! Oh well, look forward to a big post if I pass! Look forward to not so big post if I have to retest! LOL

Until Later, Love ya,

1. Plans and schedules are necessary for success, but I rarely stick to them .

2. I'm happy when things go smoothly without drama .

3. The last thing I drank was a nice strong glass of water.

4. One of the most valuable things in my life is my mother. She rocks and I don't know what I'd do without her .

5. I like banana peppers and chicken or turkey pepperoni on my pizza.

6. Dear November, your days are already cold. So I'm afraid what sister December will bring.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to chilling out a bit, tomorrow my plans include AFAA group fitness workshop(pray that I pass) and Sunday, I want to see a movie and rest a bit!

NoJoMo #5 Thursday Thirteen

13 Signs you should look for a new job.....

1. You greet your coworkers each morning by flipping them the bird instead of saying good morning.

2. During your yearly review, your manager points out that your status has been changed from permanent to "pending".

3. You walk in to your cube to see that your things have been packed nice and neatly in a box.

4. You refer to your manager/supervisor as idiot to their face.

5. You see coworkers and try to use teleconesis to make spontaneously explode.

6. Your greeting on your voice mail says, "Sorry I can't answer my phone. I'm being tortured in my personal purgatory."

7. You read the internal job postings and your job is listed.

8. You go to a going away luncheon and the cake has your name on it..... SURPRISE!

9. You become obsessed with your stapler and flip out when someone removes it from your desk... (I love Office Space!)

10. You try to enter the building and are promptly removed by security.

11. The HR manager starts bringing you job announcements from other companies.

12. When asked if you have a moment to talk by your manager, your coworkers bust out in rousing chorus of "Nana na na, Nana na na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye!"

13. Your manager introduces you to your replacement and asks that you train them.
