Yup, I said it. Tracking is making me look at my poor food choices head on. And I must say that although they are healthier than what I use to eat prior to weight watchers, I still have some work to do. My quantities are all out of whack. Some days I'm going over my points. Other days I'm not eating enough. I have to force myself to find the balance because neither are good for trying to push forward.
So what's the plan of attack? Pull out the scale and measure my food. Use fruit as snacks and not animal crackers and 100 calorie packs. I can't get rid of everything all at once, so the 100 calorie packs will go first. My love for animal crackers runs deep, so I'll opt for a smaller portion than the individual bags that have 2 servings in them. I'll pair them with Strawberry FiberOne Yogurt. Yum! Sorry I get excited about animal crackers :-)
If you've followed my journey in the past, you know that I'm not a vegetable eater. My choices are very limited in that area. I'm trying to get better and sample some things, but I'm just not a fan. I'd rather eat fruit. And since it's citrus season, grapefruits and oranges are becoming my close personal friends.
Stay tuned to see if I go into convulsions from ingesting something of the vegetable variety.
Lynn
